I have some bottled water and blankets in the car. I worry about my cat and whether or not I will be able to get him into the cat box in time -- but I have a plan to just throw him in the car. Our summer home is on a barrier island. The last time there was an evacuation order, my wife stayed and later said, "See it wasn't so bad".
